A few years ago I started writing a newsletter article for my local quilt guild. It was called 'The Stash Is Winning' and was about, well, my quilting stash and my ongoing attempts to tame it. There aren't too many of these articles because the newsletter is only printed bimonthly but I'm going to post them all here. First and foremost because I want to share then with a wider audience and this is my own personal forum, and second because this forum contains crafters. Crafters who must sometime face their stash. Every craft has an opportunity for stash, some more than others. My beads and bead supplies are only a part of the glory that is my stash; my personal stash also contains supplies for quilting, sewing, cross stitch, needlepoint, punchneedle, crochet, knitting, stamping and scrapbooking. I'll leave it to your imagination to think what it must look like.
By the way if you should ever be in the area of Northern Colorado, feel free to check in on the Guild. It's pretty active and there's always a good speaker. www.longmontquiltguild.org.
